In creating my range of saddles, I established a number of non-negotiables, because saddles must have the right fit, provide comfort, and be easily adjustable. The solid premium brands listed below ensure that horses and their riders are guaranteed this support.
BEMER®

Frank Baines
Only the finest materials are used in the production of the high-quality jumping and dressage saddles of this UK brand.
The brand is highly compatible with TreeClix – and the TreeClix base can even be pre-installed in new saddles.
This saddle combines ancient techniques with state-of-the-art technology to create solid, trustworthy products. In addition, this brand provides numerous options for tailoring the saddle to the client’s requirements.
Treeclix
Changing the lining won’t always do the trick to make sure saddles remain the right fit – which is where TreeClix (which I personally use and can vouch for) comes in.
TreeClix can adjust the saddle tree width with a single click. You can use this for a variety of existing saddles, while Frank Baines also offers the option to pre-install the TreeClix base into a saddle at their production site. Making tweaks as your horse goes through changes in weight or muscle development has never been easier.
Bear in mind that TreeClix is designed strictly to alter the width of a wooden saddle tree, i.e. widening shoulders. It is not equipped to remedy any other causes of a poorly fit saddle.
Ikonic
This high-end saddle brand is perfect for developing horses. They provide adjustable pommels, so you can adapt saddle fit and balance as your horse grows and changes shape. Ikonic saddle pads contain a mix of wool and memory foam, offering the best of both worlds.
The tree shape of their jumping saddles – which are included in my range – makes them extremely versatile, which you can’t always take for granted with other saddles. In addition to Ikonic’s saddles, I also sell their superior girths.
Le Mieux
While this brand does not manufacture saddles, they do produce excellent accessories including:

- Stirrups
- Girths

Connect
This relatively young Dutch saddle brand is known for its perfect fit, comfort and quality. I personally love this brand, as their saddles are adjustable for different riders of any height, guaranteeing them the perfect fit.
The pads are significantly shorter than for other brands, making this brand also perfect for horses with shorter backs – a trend which we, as saddle fitters, are seeing more and more often. My Connect range includes dressage saddles, girths and stirrup leathers.
EM Saddles
This homegrown Dutch brand has designed its saddles based on the anatomical shape of the horse’s back. The saddles were designed with freedom of movement, the horse’s muscular strain and the rider’s natural balance in mind. These customized saddles can be fitted to virtually any horse.
Equipe
This handcrafted Italian-based saddle brand only uses the highest-quality, Italian-made leather. They carry an extensive range and offer a high-quality service which is a personal favourite. I offer several jumping saddles manufactured by Equipe, with several different trees and innovation systems, along with Equipe girths.
Mattes
German brand Mattes is renowned for its fur items, including a wide selection of girths, saddle pads and supports.
Their products are suited for all disciplines and are available in a variety of models. They are also designed to keep the animal’s withers free (and free from pressure).
Mattes’ engineers work closely with riders, saddle makers and instructors to create a flawless product that provides maximum comfort to horses and riders alike.
Ideal
As one of the largest saddle manufacturers in the United Kingdom, Ideal provides a full range of saddles, all built on wooden saddle trees. I have personally selected a number of models which are a perfect addition to my selection.
